Blazing Saddles gets her name from the black saddle shaped markings on her back, which are very similar to her mother's. She is not a timid pup and frequently climbs the cardboard barrier set up in front of their crate and peers over.
9/23/10 Update - Blazing Saddles is still very headstrong, and is usually one of the first pups to climb the makeshift cardboard fence we built for them. She also likes to nibble toes and has started playing with toys, which is insanely adorable. Her markings are still very similar to her mother's (at least those on her back).
10/12/10 Update - Blazing Saddles, who also has the nickname 'Badger' has a strong personality. She's always getting in the middle of puppy disputes (or causing them). She is still very sweet and loves to romp around the room. We affectionately call her a badger or tank because she seems to have a very broad build and moves much like a badger (or tank). Along with Teddy Bear, Blazing Saddles will be joining our little pack. :)
